Special Election for Board Members to fill seats 2, 6, and 8
At the February 4, 2019, regular meeting, the LAMSBD approved Resolution 19-01, calling for a special election for the purpose of electing board members to seats 2, 6, and 8.
Qualification for candidacy shall require petitions signed by no less than 25 voters residing within the LAMSBD, on a form approved by the Supervisor, which specifies the seat number of the seat the candidate is seeking, OR by paying a $25.00 filing fee.
This is the schedule for the Special Election:
Petitions for qualifying due: February 19, 2019
Qualifying begins: February 25, 2019
Qualifying ends: February 26, 2019
Book closing: March 18, 2019
Special primary election day: April 16, 2019
Special general election day: June 4, 2019
