The LAMSBD Board announced last night that Lake Asbury (big and lower) lake water level will be dropped temporarily. The lake level will drop slowly, approximately 2 to 4 inches depending on the weather and the impact of the watershed.
A contractor needs to make a visual observation of the valves on Lake Asbury.
The Board cannot predict when the water reduction will begin due to the contractor’s schedule. The Board can only estimate that the reduction should start in the near future and last for 7 to 10 days.
The observation is part of the Board’s capital improvement review.
The Board will advise when completed.
