Approval means the District can obtain a Loan to begin to upgrade our aging infrastructure such as the new Lake Asbury Spillway. Lake Asbury Dam was built in 1965.
The valves in all four kettles have been repaired, but remember the repaired valves are still in old infrastructure. The repairs can only be maintained for a few years. New draw down structures for all three dams are still needed to meet required safety standards.
