- Approval of prior Minutes: Motion by Lahey second by Clemons to approve all the minutes from May. Approved 6-0.
- Motion by Clemons and second by Pence to approve the checks and EFT. Approved 6-0.
- Motion by Clemons and second by Lahey to accept Thompson Marine Construction Group to repair the South dam spillway at a cost up to $275,000. Approved 6-0.
- Motion by Pence second by Clemons to approve the tentative budget. Approved 6-0.
- Motion by Lahey second by Clemons to hire Bizsmartweb.com web services , on a trial basis for three (3) months. Approved 6-0.

Motions – May 1, 2023
Motion by Trustee Clemons for Attorney Wahl to prepare RFQ for the Accountant’s position from job description and needed skills. Second by Trustee Pence . Motion passed.
Motion by Trustee Forhan to hold a Special meeting to develop the 2024 budget. Second by Trustee Pence. Motion Carried
Motion by Trustee Pence to hire Stone Aquatics for a one day contract “demo day” to see how they perform and how much clearing they complete. Cost around $2700. Second by Trustee Weisenburger. Motion passed. We will need a summary of work and a certificate of insurance.

April 3 Motions
Motions from April 3, 2023 Minutes
Motion by Poidevant and second by Forhan That the District Secretary be the Records Management Liaison. Approved 9-0.
Motion by Poidevant and second by Weisenburger That Attorney Wahl create a Record Management Program. Approved 9-0.
A motion is needed to allow a check to be cut to pay the bill of $4,461.20. Motion by Pence second by Weisenburger Approved 9-0.
Motion by Pence second by Lahey to hire Stone Aquatics Weed and Algae Removal for 10 days to clean out the hyacinth on North and South Lake Asbury at a cost of $26,350. Approved 5-4
Motion by Pence second by Lahey for a check for $7,905 (30%) up front fee be sent to Stone Aquatic Weed & Algae Removal. Approved 6-3.

Motion by Wantage and Second by Forhan to add Vice-chairman Lahey and Treasurer Wantage as authorized signers and to remove former Treasurer Carl Kocher and former Vice-Chairman Forhan as signers to the Ameris Bank checking account for LAMSBD. Approved 8-0
Motion by Pence and Second by Forhan to approve the new cost of $4,336.00 for the purchase of 10’ to 12’ carp (2 per acre). Approved 8-0.
Motion by Forhan and second by Lahey to establish a page to list all substantial motions and documents (ie: contracts, studies, RFQ’s) not of a sensitive nature with a hyperlink to the pertinent minutes. Approved 8-0.
January 9 Motions
Motions from January 9, 2023
Board Meeting
Motion by Wantage and second by Lahey to Set up a workshop to be held in mid-March to review our projects and break them down into smaller projects. Date to be determined. Approved 6-3.
Motion by Forhan and second by Wantage to approve the update. Approved 9-0. (This motion is to update the policy on Public Request for Information.)
Motion by Wantage and second by Weisenburger to allow Trustee Pence to use up to $4,000.00 to purchase a maximum of 230 carp. Approved 9-0.
Motion by Trustee Lahey and second by Pence to engage a new three (3) year contract with Forest Ground Works at the same cost per mowing. Approved 9-0.
